Star Trek Warp Drive -- Coming Soon to Your Auto Dealer...
In the long running television series created by Gene Roddenberry, the warp drive was invented by Zefram Cochrane, who began his epic project in 2053 in Bozeman, Montana. Now Dr Gerald Cleaver, associate professor of physics at Baylor, and Richard Obousy have come up with a new twist on an existing idea to produce a warp drive that they believe can travel faster than the speed of light, without breaking the laws of physics. Intelligent Manipulation of the Sun?
If a weapon or other weather modification system was directed at the Sun, complex patterns like these would provide evidence for researchers that something is actually occurring to alter the Sun's X-ray and electron output in response to what was directed at the Sun. In other words, these charts may provide successful confirmation for weather control researchers, if solar X-rays and electron changes match a new weapon or weather modification system operation. Perhaps we will bring the events of 2012 upon ourselves without any outside help. Time will tell.
Japan's Robot for Lonely Men
CLICK HERE FOR THE REST OF THE STORYA Japanese firm has produced a 38 cm (15 inch) tall robotic girlfriend that kisses on command, to go on sale in September for around US$175, with a target market of lonely adult men. Using her infrared sensors and battery power, the diminutive damsel named "EMA" puckers up for nearby human heads, entering what designers call its "love mode".

Real Life War Games "Nerd"
A computer geek faces 70 years in jail for hacking into the top levels of US defence. He tells...how, hooked and stoned, he landed himself in such hot water.
Experts Unveil 'Cloak of Silence'
Scientists have shown off the blueprint for an "acoustic cloak", which could make objects impervious to sound waves.
SKYNET Begins? (Did Software Kill Soldiers?)
CLICK HERE TO READ THE RESTIt “is assumed that there was a mechanical problem, which led to the accident. The gun, which was fully loaded, did not fire as it normally should have," he said. "It appears as though the gun, which is computerised, jammed before there was some sort of explosion, and then it opened fire uncontrollably, killing and injuring the soldiers."

The Mystery of Levitation = SOLVED!
Levitation has been elevated from being pure science fiction to science fact, according to a study reported today by physicists.
Sex with Robots Could be Commonplace by 2050!
Romantic human-robot relationships are no longer the stuff of science fiction -- researchers expect them to become reality within four decades. And they do not mean simply, mechanical sex.
Are We Closer to a 'Matrix'-Style Virtual World?
Computer scientist Michael McGuigan told New Scientist magazine he believed a “Matrix”-style virtual world, in which one cannot always distinguish between what’s real and what’s not, could be up and running in just a few years. His optimism derived in part from the impressive ramp-up in processing speed he obtained with the lab’s BlueGene/L supercomputer while running a conventional ray-tracing software program that mimics the effect of natural light.
The result? An eye-fooling virtual beam.
Swarms of Transformer-style robots to be built!
Scientists aim to create a prototype team of self-organising, shape-changing mini robots that work as a team by 2013.
The self-healing robots will be able to dock with each other, share energy and co-operate to maximise their abilities to achieve different tasks.
